As you know, I have scheduled our Fall SET for November 14. As it turns out, the American Red Cross is also planning a Winlink Communications test as well on November 14th. I am working with our ARC representative to sync up concerning the SET. The purpose of the test is to proficiency in delivering traffic via Winlink. I have attached a document discussing the Winlink Proficiency Goals For Radio Operators Supporting the ARC. Please review the document and review with your teams. In addition, there is a Winlink Practice that is held on Thursdays. I will forward details about each practice as soon as I receive it. John Hill - KF5VO
I have no issue using Winlink Wednesday as a practice session to support an upcoming exercise. If you get with me a couple weeks in advanced of the exercise and explain how you would like for me to help, I'd be more than willing. Just remember, our Winlink Wednesday net has an International participation. I'd like for anything we do with the net to be applicable to as many people as possible.
