As you've probably read in the recent ARRL email, the league has adopted a new ARES Strategic Plan. NTX Section ARES leadership (the SEC, ASECs, and DECs) will be revising the section ARES Emergency Plan and ARES Position Task Book to implement the changes sent down from the league.

The SEC submitted several comments solicited from ARES leaders down to the EC level. The league listened! Several of the requirements were too taxing and stringent on the ARES leaders, and the majority of those requirements have been relaxed to "suggestions" instead of "requirements."

The revisions will be posted on the ARRL NTX website in the coming weeks, and any questions or concerns can be directed to the NTX Section Emergency Coordinator, Jerry Goodson W5BFF. His email address is SEC@... and his phone number is 430-342-3376.

Our appreciation goes out to all ARES members in the section! Integration <section@...>
